Other Commitments
In addition to tuition, there are additional commitments each year. They are as follows:
Fundraising Participation
All families are required to support fundraisers. These fundraisers help to make up the difference between the actual cost to educate a student at St. George.
Example of Fundraiser Committments
Fundraiser 1: Fall Festival – Sell raffle tickets and volunteer for the event
Fundraiser 2: Spring Gala – Sell 2 event tickets and 5 raffle tickets
Service Hours
At St. George we encourage family participation at our school. Parent volunteers are vital for many school programs, including cafeteria help, playground monitors, library aides, homeroom helpers, athletics, and many more.
All families are required to volunteer 30 hours.
To avoid the $10/hour assessment, volunteer hours must be completed by the given deadline.
Fall Semester: 15 hours complete by December 15
Spring Semester: 15 hours complete by May 7
Parents are responsible for input of hours into FACTS, documentation must be provided for hours completed. TEFA funds are not allowed to cover service hour fees.
