St. George Catholic School Home and School Association (HSA) provides support and resources to all parents, coordinates the volunteer program, and provides assistance in social events and fundraising for the school. The HSA officers and its committee meetings are noted on the school calendar, communicated via FACTS email and/or Telegram, as well as send notices of meetings and activities home with students to keep all parents informed about the important topics and fundraiser events sponsored by HSA.
St George Catholic School Home and School Association (HSA) was formed for the following purposes:
- To cooperate with the administration in promoting the common interests of the children, the parents, and the teachers of St. George Catholic School and to contribute to a better understanding of these mutual interests;
- To furnish assistance to the teachers and administration when activities of the school necessitate additional supervision or cooperation; and
- To undertake social activities or fundraising projects that will enable the HSA to assist in reducing the operational budget.
