Our Catholic faith in rooted in all we do at St. George Catholic School. Our Catholic identity is present in all courses and subjects taught. Along with a well-coordinated program, daily lessons are formulated to guide growth in our discipleship in Christ and include instruction of Church doctrine, liturgy/sacraments, scripture, morality, Catholic social teachings, and prayer. Religion in grades Pre-K to 8th grade is taught by Sr. Marie. Sr. Marie is a Dominican Sister from the Dominican Sisters of Mary Immaculate Province (OP). Students in Pre-K 3 through grade 1 participate in Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, a Montessori-based program that provides further opportunity for students to encounter and discover God.
All students in Pre K to 8th grade attend Mass on Wednesdays , Holy Days and the first Friday of each month. Students participate in carrying out these liturgies as well as communal prayer several times a day. Students also participate in Adoration and Confession. As well our pastor, Father Ronaldo visits students and is a joyful presence in the school community.
